Laura Hunton began dancing at the age of eight, training in jazz, street dance, and disco freestyle. From an early age, she loved performing, completing multiple exam processes and appearing in countless shows. She later earned a BTEC in Performing Arts at college before undertaking professional training at the renowned Urdang Academy in London.

Her professional highlights include performing at the British Fashion Awards and appearing regularly at the London Arena for the London Knights Ice Hockey Team. While working abroad as a Dance Captain, Laura discovered her passion for teaching and leadership. On returning to the UK, she gained her teaching qualification with Urban Funk and, in 2009, founded Tenacity Dance.

Since then, Laura has dedicated herself to inspiring dancers of all ages and abilities, building not only a school but a connected and supportive community. Under her guidance, students thrive as performers and as people, with movement and dance serving as a medium for growth, development, and connection. With hundreds of students having passed through Tenacity’s doors, Laura’s dream remains simple yet powerful: to continue nurturing and inspiring every dancer who becomes part of the Tenacity family.
