Laura Hunton
Laura graduated from the prestigious Urdang Academy in London in 2002, where she completed three years of professional training in all styles of Dance, Drama and Singing.
She went on to perform in many professional productions including the opening ceremony for the British Fashion Awards and singing solo in a west end performance.
After Securing a place in a girl band, Laura performed each weekend at the London Arena supporting the London Knights ice hockey team.
She also enjoyed dancing around the Med on a cruise ship. Laura became dance captain for a dance troupe in mainland Greece. It was there that she discovered her love of teaching and choreography and came back to the UK with the vision of opening a dance school.
She gained a teaching qualification with Urban Funk Uk and started to gain gaining teaching experience with Street Dance Productions in Hertfordshire. She choreographed for many shows and events during this time including Rhythms of the World music festival for three consecutive years and Dancemania at The Grove Theatre.
Tenacity Dance was born in 2009 and Laura continues to inspire and support students to develop confidence and expression through the love of dance and performing.
